As a course provider, you, as the instructor of an online course, founder of your organization and/or course provider, will be responsible for:
- Providing course content in a clear, accurate and compelling manner.
- Maintaining and updating your course content to reflect any new developments related to the course or your field - and removing any "out-of-date" information on a timely basis.
- Establishing a clear understanding of student expectations and the responsibilities of the Course Provider.
- Supporting each student with timely correspondence (within 24 hours recommended, or clearly specify the expected response time).
- Disclosing your payment policy before enrollment, (if applicable).
- Specifying the meaning of "Certification" for the course (if applicable).
- Explaining the procedure involved in receiving Continuing Education Credit (CEUs), if your school offers CEU credit.
- Reviewing the requirements for course completion fairly and constructively.
- Issuing the certificate in a reasonable time (within 1 month of completion recommended, or specify the expected time it takes to receive the certificate), if applicable.
