Terms of Agreement for Member Schools

• You are free to place outside advertising or affiliate program advertising on your Online Campus site, provided that the products or services advertised are related to your course(s) and/or your field. You are also free to link back to your own web site, or affiliate sites from your Online Campus. We recommend that you place ads for other products and services not directly related to your course(s) only on your main web site. Advertising on Campus Sites that are part of the Karma-Net Online Network must not be considered offensive or promote illegal activity.

• You may not duplicate (or copy the source code) of any part of your BBI Powered Karma-Net Online Campus for placement on your own (or any other) web server.

• We (Karma-Net) reserve the right to remove any course from our online network that we deem to be offensive or outside the scope of Karma-Net's subject focus. This includes (but is not limited to) sites that promote or have links to material that promote any activity considered illegal in the United States of America.

• We reserve the right to remove any course that does not maintain the Karma-Net Quality Standard. This includes (but is not limited to) courses that do not regulary update their material, courses that consistently do not respond to student questions or concerns within a reasonable amount of time, courses that provide little or no value to the student. In most cases, this type of action will be prompted by student complaints. If this is the case, we will make every effort to contact the school or instructor, relay the complaints and allow a resonable amount of time for the problem to be corrected.

• We (Karma-Net) reserve the right to amend or otherwise make changes to these guidelines at anytime, without formal notice, although we will make every effort to contact our members in advance of any changes.

• We will make every effort to maintain regular contact with our course providers. However, it is the responsibility of each course provider to provide Karma-Net with updated and current contact information.

• While only the finest web applications are used to power the BBI/Karma-Net Online Campus system, Neither BBI nor KarmaNet assumes responsibility for downtime, loss of income, etc. due to Internet or server problems, operating problems of any of the other programs and/or third-party systems that we employ in the everyday operation of the Karma-Net website or BBI Online Campus System. In addition, it is the responsibility of those using the Online Campus System to ensure that their computer system meets the basic system requirements.

• By accepting this agreement, member schools and instructors agree to honor their financial obligation to BBI / Karma-Net. Basic subscription fees will be duducted at the beginning of each month in advance of that month's services. Individual Member Fees will also be calculated and charged at the beginning of each month. Member Charges are calculated for the previous month's service. As there is no long term service contract required, members are free to cancel anytime. Upon cancellation, members will be responsible for the current month's service and member fees only.

• The data, e-mail and all student accounts from a Cancelled Online Campus Account cannot be retrieved once you have chosen to permanently disable the account and cancel your membership. It is your responsibility to archive your course content, campus materials and e-mail before cancellation.

• No, or Low Cost Advertising made available to our valued members is offered solely at the discretion of BBI / Karma-Net. We cannot guarantee any specific ad placement, or specific results from such advertising.
